Firetube boilers designed and built by Technotherm have proven themselves in sulfuric acid plant service through continuous, trouble free operation.

The firetube boiler is preferable to a refractory lined water tube boiler for it's lower maintenance requirement. Also the danger of burnout is minimized both by it's high water capacity and low heat retention.

Though Technotherm provides boilers for plants in excess of 3000 TPD capacity, the limit of this type of boiler has yet to be reached.
